Punch Needle Fabric

Punching requires firm, rather coarsely woven fabrics so that the punch needle can pass through the fabric without much effort. Monk's cloth, Aida, linen and jute are ideal fabrics for beginners as they are forgiving of skipped stitches. We offer a range of tried and tested fabrics here. Good to know: punch needling means experimenting - experienced punchers can also embroider thicker woven fabrics such as denim or canvas.
